was playing around with the close-up effect of our digicam.
i am always awed with these new wallpapers coming out. eversince i was able to use windows, i see to it that i have the best wallpaper in my pc. thanks to my cousin kuya ronald for opening my eyes to this eye-candies.

this pc is giving me headaches.
seems to me i have a hardware problem. it’s either the board or the hdd or the vidcard. i am betting it is the board.
you see, here is how it goes:
whenever i boot my pc, sometimes nothing comes out of the monitor. no signal whatsoever. i will try to boot it up to five times until it will finally boot properly.
then when i’m already in, it will freeze when i am in a middle of something. then back to powering on the hard way.
here are the things i have already done to isolate the problem:
1. i changed the processor. from XP 1.8 to XP 1.2. the problem still remains. it’s not my processor (proc was just replaced a couple of months back)
2. i interchanged the DDR memory to the other 2 free slots. (this works sometimes when i have a hard time booting up).
so, i have really a big hunch that it is the board. it is becoming picky when booting up.
but i also think that my hdd is dying. i have 2 hdd: 1 30gb barracuda and 1 40gb 5400rpm seagate. i’m thinking that my barracuda is dying because it is too darn hot after some time.
what i want to try is to change first the hdd (because that is the easiest way out). if the problem persists, i will have to change the board with something else.
and one more thing, during one of those hard-to-boot times, screen once froze the POST screen. hmmm…. what gives?
anyway, i have no time (and money) to fix this problem. i have to put up with what i have now.
