i got a very very late cellphone call from celeste last sunday night, i thought it was another missed call (because most people have my name first in their list of contacts). anyway, she called to tell me that glenda infante’s company is looking for applicants for their newly acquired company. their company, bought another company and they need new people for their OR (operations research) department. celeste would have applied if she didnt sign a contract to CitiBank 3 days before… so instead, she called me and encouraged us - pen and me - to try our luck there. i told her that we are still doing our thesis but she insisted that this is a rare oppurtunity and dont let it go away. needless to say, i was pursuaded, not to mention excited, so i emailed glenda first thing the following day - monday. true enough, glenda told me that this is a rare oppurtunity and told me to email her our resum�s at once. so yesterday, we did our resum�s and emailed it to glenda before we head home.
i hope this will turn out good…. i’ll keep you posted.
and oh, what about the thesis? damn the thesis once we are accepted here! Hahaha

as promised, here is the pic when we ate at veneto. gerald treated us because apparently he was promoted to a higher position, which means, higher pay!
we feasted on 1 14 inch pizza and 1 pasta and a couple of chicken wings which are not so yummy and drowned our selves with refillable fruit juices. rapsa!
