D: Not necessarily. A lot of great artists were insane.
C: But… But how could they have painted in color anyway? Wouldn’t their paints have been shades of gray back then?
D: Of course, but they turned colors like everything else did in the ’30s.
C: So why didn’t old black and white photos turn color too?
D: Because they were color pictures of black and white, remember?

it was nice to meet college friends and have a gimik. we were once again at W bar at park square in makati.
the usual gang were there - glenn (d celebrant and nanlibre), gerald, don, sherwin and me. the girls (pen, rheena and noemi) went window shopping at glorietta before heading at our place with richard.
yeah, it was cool to drink and bum around that night. there were hush hush conversations about almost everybody. hahaha. glenn will always the mysterious of us all, unless he’s so drunk, he will keep his mouth shut about his activities.. i think sherwin drunk too much. he was constantly blabbing - he is our official banka in kwentuhan but i think that night, he’s a lot more blabber.
glenn and sherwin were constanly oggling at the girls in the bar. for sure, if our girls weren’t there, they will pursue the chikas there. sayang di ko dala digicam… there was one hottie there, i dont know if they noticed it, one girl was a live anime character wearing the skimpy collegiala/student outfit. don and gerald for sure noticed that one because we exchanged looks afterwards.
we retired relatively early coz we still have rheena to worry about. well, noemi was with richard so they can pretty much handle themselves, pen was with me and we can easily go home, but rheena was all alone so i pretty much took the burden to make sure that she’ll be home safe - not to mention that we’ll be heading the same direction on the way home. the guys aren’t satisfied yet and i heard that they will still be playing billiards. di ko alam kung nag-bilyar nga sila o iba ang binilyar nila. ü
i’ll post pics maybe tomorrow. na kay rheena pa yung pics at bukas pa daw nya ma-sesend sa kin.

it was pen’s turn for her inteview yesterday. i bought a newspaper so i can waste my time reading it while waiting for her. i was at the veranda section of the philam building’s foodpark. the scene was cool but the smokers gathered there so i kinda inhaled the second hand smoke from the table beside me. i was definitely bored while i was waiting there. i was fidgety and all but nonetheless endured the looong wait for pen.
she told me afterwards that the interview went fine. cool. i really hope and pray that we land that job. i think it is a dream job for me. the only thing that bothers me is that *bleep* may also be hired. Aaargh. the possibility is very likely. shit.
anyway, we headed to enterprise just to go to the walkway leading to glorietta area. we then learned that gerald was there so we met him at the lobby and the three of us went to glorietta. stomachs started grumbling so we decided to have an early dinner at tokyo tokyo. boy, i missed my favorite tonkatsu. yum yum! i had 4 servings of rice (it was free mind you) haha. there was a booksale at quad1 so we went there (gerald is your ultimate 2nd hand book buyer), there we met donato. small place isnt it? they agreed to play battle gear2 arcade - it’s very much the same as initial D cars. don played well. he can really drift his rx7 and trueno cars. melody arrived and dragged don to go home. so we headed home leaving gerald at glorietta coz he will be meeting somebody else.
generally, yesterday was fun. i enjoyed yesterday’s makati gimik.
before i forget, glenn will be treating us tomorrow at a bar in makati. he will be celebrating his 26th bday on feb26. i will greet you later dude.

it’s good to be back!
not that i was away or something. i was simply inactive here in my LJ. so many things happened since the last post i have here (feb5 to be exact).
here are some snippets that i can remember…
- remember the post about my job opening? well, i had my first personal interview last friday (feb13 - friday the 13th!). i think it went well. i keep telling pen that if i was the interviewer, i would hire myself. not because it’s me but mainly because i think i am capable of the job. really!
- pen is scheduled for her own interview tomorrow (wed feb 18). she will be interviewed by the same person - ismael something. i really pray that we land that job. fuck the other applicants.
- UP held the annual fair last valentine’s week. feb9 - feb14. we went tuesday night but just sat at the sunken garden. we didnt actually went inside the fair grounds. it was, for me, a so-so fair. nothing really that spectacular. it wasnt enticing enough for me. i would regret spending 60 bucks for the entrance.
- in connection with number3, i just heard yesterday that there were 2 fatalities during the week. i havent got the details yet. as soon as i can verify things, i will tell you the whole story. and no, it wasnt frat-rumble related thing.
- just a quick one: pen and me (actually si pen lang ang gumagawa talaga) are planning to go out of town sometime next month. it will be either corregidor or quezon province or both if possible.
- i have activated my dc++ account once again. and boy, i am glad to do that. i downloaded the batman issues featuring Jim Lee as the penciler. wow! i will post images on next post i promise you.
- what else have i been doing? hmmm… pen and me are attending the 6am mass as frequent at possible. the only thing that makes it hard is that nasa kasarapan ng tulog kasi sa mga oras na yun. and after the mass, we light candles before we go to math.
