I shave my facial hair every monday morning during bath time. That for me is the optimal time to shave my beard/mustache as I would like to start the week right and my facial hair is already relatively long by then. Once, I didn’t shave my facial hair for two weeks because I was feeling lazy. It was fun having facial hair, but the downside of it is that it’s really hard to shave long hair stubbles. Man, they stick on the razor blades and make the blades dull faster. I use the gillette twin blades and not the mach blades that cost hundreds of pesos.
Together with the shaving cream I’m using, shaving is much easier than before. During my teens, I used to just wet the blades and my facial hair before shaving. Now, I use a shaving cream to ease the shaving process and lessen the hurt. Sometimes, I squeeze out too much foam and instead of just washing them off my hand, I spread the excess foams on my body. Hehe. It’s minty so it tickles my nipples once it’s washed off. LOL
It has become a ritual for me to shave every monday morning. So I see to it that I wake up a little earlier than usual if it’s monday.
So, why am I writing this? Well, we have an event on Saturday and I want to look good that day. My little ritual will be disturbed as I have to shave before saturday. ![]()

It’s been a tradition for me to celebrate Pen’s bday in a weeklong fashion. Well, not really celebrate but at least greet her one week in advance and everyday until her birth day.
We will try this time to celebrate her bday with her friends. Preparations are being done as of this time and come saturday, we will party. ü
Advance happy bday Pen!!

No, not my habit.
It’s a Linkin Park song. It’s been playing in my winamp all day long. Am not an avid Linkin Park fan but I do like their songs. Breaking the habit is especially likable because of it’s music video. Hope you guys can see it. It’s an anime rendition of the band members much like the cowboy bebop anime style drawing. Way Cool.
Sana madownload ko music video nila.
I missed the 2nd issue of Identity Crisis. Sigh. I have the first issue and admittedly I didn’t liked the story then but the reviews for issue #2 made me crave for the entire mini-series. As an overview, Elongated Man’s wife Sue Dibny was brutally murdered in the 1st issues. Heroes in the DC universe are now trying to find out who killed her. Elongated Man is a member of JLA along with the big three - Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman. So far the big three are not the main focus of the story line and the ‘lesser’ characters are in focus - Green Arrow, Hawkman, Elongated Man, etc. Now in issue #2, as I’ve read, Sue was also sexually assaulted years before by one Dr. Light (who is the main suspect of Green Arrow’s group). Now, this is mainstream comics and hopefully kids will not be able to get a copy. DC also told that this is one DC event that will shatter the DC universe.
Sana makakita pa ko ng kopya sa ibang branches..

I’ll be trying to update you guys with new softwares I find useful and those I use myself.
I Let me start off with some Registry Cleaning Utilities. Hands-off to RegSupreme & RegCleaner utilities. Obviously, they clean your registry for unwanted entries especially those orphaned .dll’s left by uninstalled apps. Some of the apps you uninstalled leave their registry files instead of deleting them. RegSupreme & RegCleaner will take care of them for you. So why use two different registry cleaner? Well, honestly, I find them both useful and each has it’s own features I like to use. Try them both and find out which will suit your need.
Another new find I have is Mp3doctor. For all of you guys out there who have massive amounts of mp3s in your drives with different inherent volumes, you must try this app. The prominent feature of this app is being able to normalize your mp3s so that they will have the same volume. Noticed that while playing your mp3s, some are louder than the other? This is because the encoding of an mp3 file is not yet standardized. Mp3doctor will somewhat make your mp3s have the same volume.
I will be adding some other stuffs as I go along.
That will be all for now.

I’m really sick right now. Got my nose full of sipon. Singhot ako ng singhot dito sa opisina para di tumulo ang sipon. Badtrip.
Can’t work porperly. I’ve been thinking of other things rather than my work.
Pen is currently at Manila Peninsula since yesterday til tomorrow. They are attending an Operations Research convention and they are being sponsored by San Miguel Corp. Registration fee is priced at 10,700. That amount UP will never pay for a measly 3-day world-class convention. UP is too cheap for that oppurtunity.
I have been really busy for the past weeks. Weekdays are over-spent here in the office while weekends are my alloted time for Pen. Everytime I go home from work, I feel the fatigue traversing my whole body. My mind is totally spent during the day and my body follows suit. Not being able to think properly on the way home, my body may think that it’s already resting time and it’s already clamoring for my bed. That’s what I think is happening with me. It all starts with a non-functional brain when going home. Otherwise, I can still be energetic when my brain is not exhausted during the day.
2 weeks ago, I helped my uncle build a pc for them. It was an AthlonXP 2.0 with 256mb memory and GF2 MX400 graphics card. It was sweet and smooth. I really like building rigs specially if money is not a question. Not that my tito is uber rich but I think their pc will suit their needs. The special component in their rig is the 3-in-1 printer. I persuaded my tito to but the HP PSC 1210c printer. It’s a printer-copier-scanner combo. It was nice though I haven’t had the time to review it extensively. I think one major downside of it is the small ink cartridge it uses. One cartridge is as small as a 2pc chocnut candybars. Yeah, that small. And each will cost you about 1,500 pesos. That’s a total rip-off if you ask me. Anyhow, I hope that they will make their printer useful and not just waste their inks.
On another note, I also helped our neighbor with their new pc. (I should be charging people for being their 24×7 on call technician). Their problem was they were not able to print properly. I checked the printer, the driver and the power button. Everything was fine. Documents were in queue for their printer but nothing prints. Checked the cables and there I found the problem. The usb cable was somehow magically inserted in their serial port. Wow. Whoever would think of that? I mean, do pins match a flat cable? So I put the cable in its true resting place and wallah, printer prints. ü Now let me just tell you the specs of their pc. Neighbor is boasting that their pc is a pentium 4 2.2ghz. I wouldn’t want to believe her because their pc is damn slow. Right-clicked My computer -> Properties and true enough, it was a pentium 4 2.2ghz. The problem lies on the memory, it was a measly 96mb ram (it might even be the built in ram in the motherboard shared by the vidcard). Goodness. Even dragging one window from one place to another side takes 2-3 seconds gap. That’s a pentium4 2.2ghz for you. LOL. She even asked me what pc I built for my Tito, I told her it’s an AthlonXP 2.0ghz worth 33k. Mahal pala ng Athlon e, buti Pentium4 ang binili namin. Shook my head and walked away. If she only knew.

You wanna know why I haven’t been blogging lately?

Til then, I won’t be much of a blogger here.

I hope you dont mind if I share a joke in this entry.
Jeff walks into a bar and sees his friend Paul slumped over the bar. He walks
over and asks Paul what’s wrong.
“Well,” replies Paul, “You know that beautiful girl at work that I wanted to
ask out, but I got an erection every time I saw her?”
“Yep,” replies Jeff with a laugh.
“Well,” says Paul, straightening up, “I finally plucked up the courage to ask
her out, and she agreed.”
“That’s great!” says Jeff, “So when are you going out?”
“I went to meet her this evening,” continues Paul, “but I was worried I’d get
an erection again. So I got some duct tape and taped my penis to my leg, so if
I did, it wouldn’t show.”
“Sensible” says Jeff.
“So I get to her door,” says Paul, “and I rang her doorbell. She answered it
in the sheerest, tiniest dress you ever saw.”
“And - what happened then?”
“I kicked her in the face.”

Last Friday night was hilarious. Pen & me watched SPIT at Abelardo Hall in UP. SPIT stands for Silly People Improv Theater. Know them here. It was so damn funny. There were no scripts, no memorized lines just pure improvisations. Galeng talaga.
I liked part of Miss Gay Batanes contest and the Three-headed oracle. I never laughed so hard in a long time like that night. Audience participation is another new innovation in improv - audience will give ideas that they would like to see the actors perform. Those comedians are really sharp in thinking punchlines at that instant.
I sure hope I can see them again because for sure that will be an entirely new improv because it will be another set of audience. ü
Pen will be moving on a new home. We already transferred much of her things to the new home but the big ones are still in the old house. Anyway, Pen told me that her dad and mom would be coming over to help her fix things. She also got her new bed officially today. Yey for Pen. Be comfortable in your new place kid. Kelan ang first party natin dyan? Sa bday mo?
Watched Spiderman2 yesterday. I’d say it was pretty good. Maybe even better than the first. The thing is that I am a bit picky nowadays what is a good movie and what’s an ok movie. Sometimes you cant appreciate the effects (no matter how good it is) because everybody is already doing it. LOTR would be the frontrunner, Matrix also did great on effects, Harry Potter, Troy, Last Samurai, etc, etc. You get my point? Sometimes I just think that they have to do better in some aspects instead. Like really dwelling on the audio of the actors so that the audience will know what the story is all about and not just effects-oriented. Well, that’s basically the reason why there is a subtitle feature in dvds.
<Zenith> So I was at work today, signing for a package from UPS..
<Zenith> When the FedEx guy walks in with a package of his own.
<Zenith> And at that EXACT moment, a customer changes the channel to TBS and the Mortal Kombat movie is on, right when the fight theme music starts.
<Nigma> Did they break out into a delivery duel to the death?
<Zenith> I was prepared for parcel projectiles and fedex fatalities.
<Zenith> They eyed each other, and I knew something was about to happen…
<Zenith> But then the guy changed the channel to “Trading Spaces” and the fight was over.
