I have my atm account double checked awhile ago at BPI customer service.
More often than not, when I withdraw money from the atm, I check that piece of paper that verifies your account. Last Friday, I withdrew my allowance and when I checked my receipt, there was a hundred peso debited from my account.
Some of you may let this thing pass (100 lang naman di ba?), but it’s worth something for me. Not to mention that this is already the 2nd time this happened to me (I also reported the first instance). Imagine if I did not report these incidents, I will now be 200 peso poorer. And think of all other unfortunate souls being robbed by BPI as simple as that. If there are 100 people being debited 100 peso everyday, that would already be 10,000 a day. Make this monthly and you will be 300,000 peso richer by then! You do the next maths…
Yeah, being attentive to small details won’t get you robbed. Check your receipts people.
