The supposedly merry and happy occassion was marred with an act of terror.
Pen and I were having dinner at IceBergs near the W Bar the guys frequent when we saw people rushing to go out from Glorietta. Something was happening but we have no idea what is it. We even finished our dessert first before joining the usyoso crowd. The usual routine would be to go to the shuttle station along EDSA for Pen then I would continue to my walk enroute MRT. Though last night, a crowd was gathering in Glorietta-SM-Intercon intersection and were looking towards the MRT station. That was the time we learned that a bus exploded because of a bomb and the place was closed for civilians. Definitely no chance to ride the shuttle from there for Pen and I would not risk riding the MRT or a bus there.
We headed back to Landmark for the alternative shuttle station for Pen and I would go back to SGV along Ayala for my shuttle ride.
Everywhere people are making comments and remarks of what happened. That was the only information we could gather and it’s not even confirmed. I was thinking, as long as the story buzzing around is relatively the same, then I’ll stick to it. So we were able to put the story together that a bomb exploded in a bus near the Ayala station.
The lovely and romantic day ended with a bang.
