Seems like the blogging crew are alive and kicking.
Pen shares her new find favorite artist, Paulo Coelho, in her recent blogs.
Jie shares his first Peyups article regarding the eight of April.
Noims talks about her job switching, hornbeam tree and lots of food reviews.
Joining the blog bandwagon is the wife of my favorite cousin, Cia. It’s never late to start one. And it’s a good start at that to keep us Manila folks in touch with their life in Singapore.
Anthony must be swamped with something that he rarely posts new stories about his life in LA. The once active blogger now posts only at least once a month(?)
Glenn is still stuck with his nothing really article. Wala na ba talaga Glenn? Hehe
Just a brief summary of my crew links. Check out the allies link too.
Owners of Peyups with their photography hobby/profession
Used to be math’s computer-admin-student now living in Minnesota ranting on his sleep woes.
Markku’s Rebelpixel production updates us regarding tech talks and other stuffs.
And the web-developer-god of iGMAtv shares everything he can share.
Signing off for now. I’ll be in Boracay from Apr8-11. Leaving you with something else to read.
See you kids.
Been meaning to post this image but it seems I have putting it off. Anyway, here is Sherwin partaking the Lembas bread from Rheena’s wedding. Well, you should know that a Lembas bread is an Elf-bread from the LOTR movies… (One small bite is enough to fill a full grown man).

At Rheena’s wedding, there was this huge monay bread at each table. Since we were all hungry that time (and figured out that dinner will be served late), inupakan na namin yung monay. As Sherwin is the most gutom of us all, he initiated the cutting of the huge monay and gave us our shares - ala last supper hehe.
This is one great photo.
Talk about capturing the moment and enhancing it.
2 weddings in a row.
A college friend, Rheena, last Jan 15 and my favorite cousin, Nandy, last Jan 22.
Nandy, my cousin, told me last year that he wants me to be his best man. I was never a best man before. I don’t know what to do and where am I needed. I just showed up there at the church, led the procession, brought the coins up at the altar during the ceremony and basically took away lots of behind-the-scene-moments pictures.
During the reception, I was called to give a speech for the couple. I didn’t write anything down eventhough Nandy texted me earlier to notify me. I just made some mental notes and I really have no idea what I was able to say that entire time. It was a blur. I do hope I can get a copy of their video.
Sad thing is Pen missed the wedding. Sayang talaga. Though it was nobody’s fault. Better to rest at home kaysa mabinat pa at lumala ang sakit.

A bit of trivia: Rheena’s bday was last Jan 14 while Nandy’s bday was last Jan 21. Both before the day of their weddings. ![]()
First theme wedding that I will be attending.
See their teaser trailer here:
About 9 hrs to go here in the Philippines before Christmas.
People are still rushing to buy their stuffs at the malls, markets and tiangges. Yesterday before going home, I met Pen, her mom & dad at Glorietta to have a quick dinner. You should have seen the swarm of people going inside Glorietta. We left Glorietta at around 7pm. They headed to Landmark to get a ride enroute Pacita. And as expected, traffic at South Luzon Expressway was horrendous according to Pen.
Me on the otherhand stopped by Megamall to buy my comics for the week. When I got there, delivery was delayed and their stock would be arriving at around 9pm according to the saleslady. I can’t wait that long so I’ll be buying my comics on the 28th instead. I detoured to ToyKingdom before finally going home and boy, it was like going to Divisoria inside ToyKingdom. Ang dami ng tao! Yung pila sa counter halos umabot na sa gitna sa loob ng ToyKingdom. Mukhang madami silang pera, pushcarts sa dami ng pinamimili.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Gotta play Civ3 now. hehe
Official time-in today: 6:24am.
Earliest arrival here in office. I figured with the early time-in, I can escape early. Hehe.
Also, tonight is Math’s xmas Party. I got invited by no less than the Department Chair himself. I definitely would like to go and with Ric telling me that we have gifts from Dr.M, the more excited I am now. If I’m not mistaken, this is the third Christmas in a row that we received gifts from Dr.M. Last Christmas we got the whole Season1-3 DVDs of Sopranos. I wonder what we’ll be receiving today.
Speaking of Christmas gifts, I haven’t done any Christmas shopping this year. Zilch. Nada. I definitely hate to go alone and give myself serious headaches just for thinking specific gifts to the people I would give gifts. I’ll pass this year.
For Pen? Call me lazy, pathetic or unromantic, but I already bought her christmas gift last September. And for my defense, that gift is a should buy that time, if not, I will not be able to buy or even more, see it again. *wink*
To everyone who came to visit Pen in Asian Hospital, this blog entry is for you.
Pictures are included so I’ll just link you to the longer post inside

Happy new month to everyone. ![]()
Can you feel the season’s spirit by now? Well, yeah it’s a bit cold and wet here in the country - with the storms and all. I know in general that people are excited to celebrate the annual occasion. With their bonuses being splurged away in the malls and tiangges. Trying very hard to keep up with the trend of buying something just for the sake of it.
Hate to spoil the jolly feeling around, but I feel bad for a lot of things quietly happening within our surroundings. A storm hit the northern Luzon part leaving hundreds of homeless families, hundreds of injured people and lifeless bodies scattered around. I heard that another storm will knock the country. Hopefully this time people will now be more prepared.
The country’s financial crisis is another thing. Man, can you feel that one? You should be glad if you’re not feeling this one. I myself feels this crisis in one way or the other. I have to minimize my perks to be able to save more. No more gadgets spending, minimize comics - currently I am only following Jim Lee’s Superman (8 out of 12), Identity Crisis (6 out of 7 - last issue na!), Wolverine Enemy of the State (2 out of 7) and Superman/Batman (on going run). I have dropped, with great disappointment, Green Lantern: Rebirth. That’s my crisis plus the one thing Pen is always bugging me. ![]()
Also, another thing IS happening that directly involves Pen. Sorry but I’m not given the green light to discuss this with you but I assure you that she is perfectly fine. Some of you know it, some of you don’t. It’s something we may have discussed with you some time in the past.
Well, that is your new month for you. This year, the downs outnumber the ups. I don’t wanna feel bad. Really.
‘Tis the season to be jolly, falalala lalala
To leave you with a smile hopefully, here are some things that may make you happy. You all know that Gmail is offering 1Gb mail storage.

Do you know that Yahoo upped it’s mail storage? They are now giving us 250mb mailbox storage.

And, would Hotmail be faraway behind?

Actually, they were 1 week ahead of Yahoo to offer the 250mb storage. Yes folks, Hotmail now offers 250mb storage.
There you go folks, 1.5gb mail storage up for grabs. Get one now and collect all the spams that you want. ![]()
That’s it for now. Again, happy new month to everyone!
Seems like Jie is ecstatic to port his blogs here in ePinoy and WordPress. I have registered him an account in ePinoy and searched for a theme that pretty much looks like his current blog. So far so good. I’ll look for a way so that he can get his previous blog entries from blogger into his new blog site.
You just wait and see for the launch of his new site.
Anybody else interested in moving? Glad to help you.
